Warm Turkey, Pesto and Provolone Sandwich

3 cups fresh basil leaves (You can subsitute spinach!)
3 cloves garlic
½ cup toasted pine nuts - (you can substitute toasted walnuts or leave out the nuts all together.)
½ cup high-quality extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup hard cheese, like Parmigiano-Reggiano, finely grated
